Tottenham ‘seem interested’ in Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie but will need €20m at least to convince the Italian’s to sell.

That’s according to Corriere Dello Sport, who cover how the American has turned things around under Max Allegri after a difficult start to the season.

They say that while the rest of the team are struggling to get out of the current crisis, there is one player who has ‘reversed the trend’, and that is McKennie.

He was far out of the picture under Allegri to begin with, but has now turned that around to become a key player under the Italian.

All of the reasons why Fabio Paratici, who is now at Tottenham, of course, elected to sign him are now on show again, and it’s not gone unnoticed by the Juventus boss.

That has brought McKennie closer to Juventus, who were more than open to selling in January not long ago.

Despite that, the interest in him has not gone away, and Tottenham ‘really like him’ courtesy of Antonio Conte and the aforementioned Paratici’s presence at the club.

However, unlike a few months ago, Juventus would now need a ‘substantial offer from €20m and up’ to make the club ‘waver’ in their stance. In other words, they no longer want to sell.

Whether that’s a price Spurs would be willing to pay isn’t mentioned, but it now seems that they have convincing to do when it comes to Juventus.

They’ve changed their mind on McKennie considerably, with him now considered a ‘wizard’ who is ‘winning’ them back.
