Tottenham Hotspur decided against bringing in a replacement for Harry Kane, after selling him to Bayern Munich for around €100m in the last window. Spurs have done well so far in his absence, scoring 28 goals in 14 league games.
The Premier League side could look to invest in a new striker in the winter market and have set their eyes on Juventus’ Dušan Vlahović.
That’s according to TV Play, who explain that Tottenham are ‘ready to get serious’ about the 23-year-old.
Both Ange Postecoglou and the north London club see the former Fiorentina man as the ‘ideal’ candidate to become Kane’s successor. Therefore, the report states Tottenham are ready to make a ‘mind-boggling’ offer to both Juve and the frontman.
The Premier League side are said to be ready to table a bid of around €80m. It’s further stated that in order to convince the Serbia international, Spurs are willing to offer him a ‘monstrous’ deal worth €15m net per year.
There’s belief Vlahović would be unlikely turn that down, if such a ‘monstrous’ deal is presented to him. Therefore, TV Play suggest he could be living his final month at the Turin club.
With Tottenham said to be ready to present an ‘indispensable offer’ to sign the Serbian, the website says Massimiliano Allegri side’s is now ‘trembling’.
