Dejan Kulusevski has made only four league starts for Juventus, while he was forced to settle for only five substitute appearances in the Champions League this season.
The forward’s situation at the Turin club has not gone unnoticed, especially at Tottenham Hotspur, where Fabio Paratici is reportedly his ‘number one fan’.
He knows the 21-year-old from his time with the Serie A side, having played a key role in signing the player from Parma in 2020.
The Old Lady are looking to bolster in the winter market, but they ‘have to sacrifice’ one of their players to raise funds. That’s according to La Stampa, relayed by Calciomercato.it.
Massimiliano Allegri’s side are looking to sign Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca. In order to have the necessary funds to carry out his signing, they would sacrifice Kulusevski, who could say ‘goodbye’ to the club in January.
Spurs get a mention as the report states they are ‘in pole position’ to sign the Sweden international next month. It’s even stated Antonio Conte’s side could offer a fee of around €35m, which could make Juventus ‘falter’.
Tottenham, however, have to be wary of Arsenal as their north London rivals are also in the picture to sign Kulusevski.
