As we edge closer to the January transfer window, stories about Dusan Vlahovic are appearing more and more often in the Italian newspapers.

Arsenal seem to be the ones pushing the most if said reports are to be believed, but Tottenham, who were also looking at him in the summer, are right behind them.

This is what Corriere dello Sport seem to suggest on Thursday when looking at what could happen to the Serbian striker in the coming months.

The official line, at least from Fiorentina’s end, is that there is ‘no intention’ of him going sooner than next summer, such is the importance of his form and goals for the team.

They know letting him go midway through the campaign could change everything, ‘even if attractive offers could arrive from the Premier League in the next few hours’.

Whether they mean that literally remains to be seen, but it’s made clear that Tottenham ‘do not seem to want to give up’ on Vlahovic, most likely pushed by Fabio Paratici, Spurs’ director of football, who has been a huge fan of him ever since he saw him first hand during his time at Juventus.

It’s rumoured that Arsenal could offer as much as €85m for him, meaning Daniel Levy would likely have to match that if they wanted to compete, but regardless of what Antonio Conte wants, we doubt that would happen in January.
