Tottenham have struggled in their last two games and Radu Drăgușin has been at the centre of debate.
The Romanian endured a poor game against Galatasaray and also didn’t have the best of games in their loss to Ipswich Town yesterday.
These performances have come after the centre-back remained on the fringes of the first-team, and then Micky van de Ven’s injury pushed him into the starting XI.
Journalist Nicolo Ceccarini has revealed details about another club’s interest in the defender, stating that Spurs haven’t agreed to let the player depart in January.
He wrote, as relayed by BianconeraNews: “There are many profiles that Napoli are thinking about.
“Among these are certainly Drăgușin and Kiwior. As for the first, Tottenham have not yet opened up to any transfers.”
The Lilywhites’ decision makes sense, considering they clearly need back up for their first two choices.
Without a replacement being sourced first, it’s unlikely Drăgușin would be allowed to leave, and he’s only going to get better the more games he picks up.
Unless the player himself is keen on leaving – and he suggested the opposite recently – then an exit doesn’t make sense.
