Premier League sides Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur both sent scouts to Amsterdam to watch the match between Ajax and PSV at the weekend.
As reported by Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, the Red Devils and Spurs were part of a scouting list which included Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, PSG, Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus.
With such a big number of clubs, the website can’t say who was watching who at the match. What they do is to list a few talents who should attract some attention, such as Matthijs De Ligt, David Neres, Mazraoui, Hakim Ziyech, Dusan Tadic, Nicolas Tagliafico, Donny van de Beek, Steven Bergwijn and Hirving Lozano.
Ajax won the match 3-1, with an own goal from PSV defender Daniel Schwaab and two others by Dusan Tadic and David Neres. The away side’s goal was scored by Luke De Jong.
The claims come at the same time Manchester United are again being linked with Lozano, and a few days after Tottenham were the subject of a story relating to Tagliafico interest.
