Tottenham and Manchester City have been brought into the list of clubs interested in Corentin Tolisso. French newspaper L’Equipe claim both sides have made enquiries to know the details of a potential transfer for the Lyon player.
Arsenal are also credited with interest, but L’Equipe believe the uncertainty over Arsene Wenger’s future creates a problem. With Mauricio Pochettino and Pep Guardiola as secure as can be, Tottenham and Manchester City are taken more seriously.
Despite that, Juventus have an advantage over everyone else, largely because they’ve been working on a potential transfer for some time. Tolisso is said to look kindly on the possibility of a Juventus switch but, again, that could be down to the club’s continued efforts.
Tolisso has 13 goals so far this season from a central midfield position, and recently made his France debut. At Tottenham, it would be interesting to see how Pochettino would use the player.
Dele Alli plays a more advanced role, and Mousa Dembele would potentially be the one to be edged out. That seems unlikely.
Guardiola would likely have a greater need at Manchester City.
L’Equipe believe Lyon will require around €45m to sell Tolisso.
