As things stand, Clinton N’Jié’s loan to Marseille could be going a lot better, even if his time on the pitch at his new club isn’t as limited Tottenham’s Georges-Kevin N’Koudou.
Yet to fully convince his new manager, Rudi Garcia, with his performances over the past couple of games, N’Jie was, however, told to stay home for medical reasons, rather than tactical ones.
Garcia revealed to the press, relayed by La Provence, on Monday morning that the Tottenham forward was left out of the squad due to a ‘muscular discomfort’, but was hoping to have him available for next weekend’s important clash against second placed AS Monaco.
Explaining he needed players who were ‘at 100%’, the former Roma manager did, however, reveal he would be calling on the Spurs loanee in the near future, especially with a run of seven games before Christmas and the club’s winter break.
