According to a claim in the Swedish media, Tottenham Hotspur have invited Örgryte IS youngster Robin Glavak to train with them next month.
Only last month we covered comments from Tottenham scout Wayne Robinson, who confirmed he was interested in two youngsters after attending a training camp in Sweden.
Fotboll Direkt report Glavak will travel to England in mid-August to train with Tottenham’s U17 side for a week, and it seems likely the Premier League side will be looking to get a an assessment of the 15 year old midfielder.
He’ll be hoping to impress and and Fotboll Direkt say it’s a ‘boost for giant Swedish talent’.
Glavak is currently playing in Örgryte IS U17 side but has appeared for their U19s on several occasions.
Earlier this month Robinson attended a training camp in Halmstad, where nearly 400 of Sweden’s best U15s were put through their paces. At the time the Tottenham scout said he was interested in a striker from Stockholm and a defender from Gothenburg.
It’s not reported if Glavak was spotted by Tottenham at the training camp, but it seems very likely this is the case.
