Two days ago, Tuttosport and Footmercato reported Arsenal are ‘pushing’ for Houssem Aouar and have made the Lyon player a ‘priority’ target for this summer.

According to Le10 Sport, the Gunners are joined by their north London rival Tottenham Hotspur as they ‘also think of Aouar’.

It’s claimed Nuno Espírito Santo’s side are the new competitor in the race to sign the 23-year-old.

Down at the Ligue 1 side, they need to sell before they buy and one of the players who can help them earn good money is the France international.

The midfielder is ‘closer than ever’ to sealing an exit, and his club hope to cash in between €20m and €25m from his sale.

Mikel Arteta’s side were first to ‘have drawn’ an offer, but their proposal isn’t enough to convince the French club.

There are other clubs, like Atlético Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, who are also looking at the player, and Le10 now state Tottenham can be added to this list.

Spurs are ‘interested’ in Aouar and it will ‘not be a problem’ for them to meet the €20-25m fee desired by Lyon. For now, Tottenham haven’t made an offer and time should tell if they do that.
