Tottenham Hotspur have been left very impressed with the performance of Vedat Muriqi during Kosovo’ clash with England this week, say Fanatik.

It’s reported Tottenham’s head of scouting Steve Hitchen was present at St. Mary’s to watch him in action and liked what he saw from the No.9.

Other reports in Turkey claimed Hitchen attended the game with Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Fanatik also report the Premier League side will continue to monitor the attacker and they are planning to send scouts to watch him for Fenerbahce.

After the summer departures of Vincent Janssen and Fernando Llorente, Tottenham could be in the market for a backup striker to compete with Harry Kane, and Muriqi looks to be an option for the London club.

The 25 year old has been in great form in this calendar year, and has scored 12 goals in his last 13 Super Lig appearances for Fenerbahce and Rizespor.

Muriqi is under contract with Fener until June 2023.
