Turkish newspaper Aksam claims Galatasaray are interested in signing FC Nordsjaelland’s Skov Olsen but they face competition from Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of the Danish attacker.
It’s reported former Bolton striker Johan Elmander, who also won two league titles with Galatasaray, is currently working for Cim Bom’s Scandinavian scouting network and has offered Olsen to the Super Lig side.
Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim is reportedly a big fan of the 19 year old winger, but Aksam reports the Turkish side have to beat Tottenham in the race for the player.
It’s claimed Tottenham are closely monitoring the young Dane but there are no reports if the Premier League side will make an offer to FC Nordsjaelland this summer.
Subsequently Galatasaray will act quickly to sign Olsen as Elmander has informed the Turkish club the youngster is being followed by others.
Olsen scored 23 goals for the Danish side last season and has one year left on his contract.
