A couple of days ago, ESPN reported sources had told them Manchester United are ‘monitoring’ Sebastien Haller.

Over in Germany there wasn’t a great deal made of the story, with seemingly nothing coming from that side of a potential deal.

Today, Bild have an article on Eintracht Frankfurt potentially losing more players, with Luka Jovic already having gone to Real Madrid for around €60m.

Inter Milan are said to be interested in Ante Rebic and have offered the Croatian €4m a year after tax. Frankfurt are prepared for a departure, whether the player goes to Inter or elsewhere.

The newspaper also state: ‘Sebastien Haller (24) is very popular with ManUnited (BILD reported).’

Now, as far as we can see, Bild didn’t actually report it independently, they simply credited ESPN and briefly covered those claims.

What they state today may either be a mistake, trying to take credit, or suggest they’ve had the interest backed on the German side of a transfer.

Still, it’s remains at an interest stage, either way.
