After watching Vedat Muriqi in action against Genclerbirligi last week, Milliyet report Tottenham Hotspur have started to gather information about the Fenerbahçe forward.

The former Caykur Rizespor player has been in impressive form since joining the Super Lig side in the summer, and the Turkish newspaper claims Spurs are now getting serious about the Kosovo international.

Its reported Tottenham officials have been informed about the player’s life off the pitch, and the Premier League side will now continue to gather more information.

Milliyet also claim Tottenham officials have held ‘unofficial’ transfer talks with Fenerbahçe, and they are preparing to make an offer to sign the 25-year-old.

Despite the growing number of clubs who are following Muriqi’s progress at Fener, it’s reported Tottenham are the only club who have outlined their intentions for him.

However, it’s unlikely the Süper Lig side will sell their star player in the January transfer window as they find themselves in the race for the league title.

It’s understood the Turkish club will only listen to offers in the region of €20m.
