Calciomercato has a brief report on Japhet Tanganga potentially leaving Tottenham in the January transfer window.
The defender has been repeatedly linked with an exit from Spurs in the winter market, and AC Milan are thought to be interested. The Rossoneri are looking to add a defender before the market closes, and taking a player on loan from the Premier League has been something mentioned repeatedly.
Manchester United’s Eric Bailly has been named as one option, and the Tottenham man is another. Milan will want a low cost deal without the obligation to make a move permanent in the summer.
Spurs have plans for something different, with it stated the London club are hoping to ‘monetise’ the player’s departure, eventually, which presumably means they want a purchase obligation included in any loan.
Calciomercato report that a ‘summit’ will be held on Monday, as the clubs look to reach some kind of agreement before the window closes.
The 22-year-old has 19 appearances to his name so far this season, and has a contract lasting until June 2025.
