While Galatasaray failed to qualify for the next round of the Champions League, they did make it to the Europa League by finishing third, and Tottenham are going to benefit from that.
This comes via Fotospor on Thursday, who have an article detailing what the Turkish side’s drop down into the second European competition means for them.
As well as getting money, they are having to spend some due to previous agreements with other clubs, including Tottenham.
However, for the two latter names, money will also be sent to Tottenham, while Chelsea and RB Leipzig will get their own income for the deals involving Hakim Ziyech and Angeliño.
Unlike the Colombian defender, Tanguy Ndombele remains a Spurs player to this day, contracted to the London side until the end of 2026 despite not being part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans.
He isn’t in Galatasaray’s either, mind, after a tough start to the campaign in Turkey, which has led to many claims he could be heading back to Tottenham if an agreement is reached between the two clubs.
