Tottenham Hotspur are now named as the main contenders to sign Samuel Iling-Junior from Juventus.
Those claims come from outlet Il Bianconero, who write about the player’s situation with the Old Lady.
With Iling-Junior getting very little playing time lately, a move away from the club is a real scenario, as he wants more minutes in the near future.
A move back to England is said to be a possibility, and Tottenham are said to be ‘first and foremost’ a possibility for him.
Last summer, Juventus turned down an attempt from Bologna to have Iling-Junior on a dry loan deal, and they’re now said to value him at around €15m.
Il Bianconero writes that Premier League clubs, and that obviously includes Tottenham, would have no problems affording that price tag.
With the story claiming Juventus are open to ‘onerous solutions’, perhaps Spurs could try a loan with a buying clause, as that could please club and player.
At the Old Lady this season, Iling-Junior only has 113 minutes on the pitch, with one assist in four appearances.
