It’s not like us to relay news from Sky Sports News, and technically we’re not, but what Le10 Sport are claiming on Tuesday goes hand in hand with what the English outlet reported on Monday night.
“According to Sky sources”, both Everton and Tottenham are said to be interested in Lille midfielder Yves Bissouma, even if is believed the former of the two started keeping an eye on him prior to Steve Walsh getting sacked and replaced by Marcel Brands.
Spurs, down their end, are apparently tracking the 21-year-old as a potential replacement for Mousa Dembélé should the Belgian leave, and it could be one of the two sides have already made a move for him.
Le10 Sport report that Lille have received some offers for Bissouma, although the name of the clubs who have come forward haven’t been made public.
With the recent change in hierarchy at Everton, it would be surprising if Brands had already given the green light to move for the Mali international, and with Mousa Dembélé still around for now, the same applies to Tottenham.
Schalke and Monaco are two other names mentioned by Sky Sports, and with Leon Goretzka already on his way to Bayern Munich, perhaps we might have our answer.
We’re just speculating here, but it’s part of the fun, right?
