Adrien Rabiot’s playing time has been limited this season and he’s made only four starts since arriving at Juventus on a free transfer.
The midfielder’s restricted role at the Turin club has seen the Italian media push him towards Tottenham Hotspur and Calciomercato reported in October that Spurs are ‘seriously thinking’ about the 24-year-old.
Maurizio Sarri’s side are interested in Christian Eriksen, whose contract at the north London club expires in 2020, and the same Italian outlet suggested on November 8th the former PSG man could be included as a part a deal in January.
Calciomercato now states the Old Lady remain hopeful Rabiot could come good in the near future, but this hasn’t stopped him from being linked with a move away from the club.
Tottenham once again get a mention and the report explains the Premier League club have ‘gone well beyond a few surveys’ when it comes to signing the player.
The possibility of a potential transfer now depends on José Mourinho, who was appointed as Mauricio Pochettino’s successor earlier this week as this is linked – at least a little – to Eriksen’s future.
