Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United seem to be the latest clubs to join the race for Fluminense midfielder André.

The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Europe, and following the Copa Libertadores title at the weekend, the rumours are now only growing.

Earlier today, claims from Brazil said Arsenal, Fulham and Liverpool watched him in the final. Now Lance comes up to say that Tottenham and West Ham had scouts in the stands as well.

It’s said that even though Fluminense turned down offers in the summer, his exit in January is considered ‘certain’.

The story even claims West Ham had an attempt turned down in the last market, as well as Fulham and Liverpool.

That’s why it’s Tottenham who are considered the ‘big news’ in the race for the midfielder.

According to today’s report from Globo Esporte, Fluminense now wait for the offers and expect to make over €35m with the sale.

Since the summer attempts, André made his international debut and won the Copa Libertadores, so they have good arguments to see bigger bids this time.
