Tottenham, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Manchester City will all have scouts at Club Brugge versus Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday evening, reports Het Nieuwsblad.
For Aston Villa, it’s likely Unai Emery is sending his spies ahead of matches against the two clubs, given they’re in the same Champions League group. Manchester City are also set to face Club Brugge in this season’s version of the competition.
For Spurs, Arsenal, Newcastle United and Manchester United it’s going to be a transfer related trip, although there’s no obvious targets when going off recent links.
Tottenham were said to be keen on Yan Couto before he signed for Borussia Dortmund from Manchester City, so maybe they’re still following him in the hope he doesn’t settle well at BVB.
Club Brugge’s Andreas Skov Olsen has also been linked with Tottenham, although those claims have somewhat quietened recently. Arsenal have also been linked with the 24-year-old, but without it getting as serious as Spurs.
Newcastle United and Manchester United haven’t got any known targets at the two clubs, so one would assume Eddie Howe and Erik ten Hag are having their scouts do general work ahead of coming windows.
