Linked to Milan, Inter and AS Roma to date, Tottenham’s Japhet Tanganga has landed on the wishlist of yet another Italian club.

This time, according to Tutto Atalanta, the club is, well, Atalanta, who have previously also taken an interest in Sergio Reguilon.

Tottenham, down their end, have been trying to get a transfer for Ruslan Malinovskyi off the ground, with the player previously said to be fine with a move to Antonio Conte’s side.

Atalanta, who recently beat Sampdoria and held reigning Champions Milan to a draw in Serie A, are ‘already working to reinforce’ their squad following the compound fibula fracture suffered by Berat Djimisti.

The Italians are said to have been ‘arguing for some time’ with Tottenham over the Ukrainian, and, throughout that process, would have ‘requested information’ for both Reguilon and Tanganga.

Regarding the latter, Spurs’ stance has been very clear to all interested parties, which is that they want either a sale or a loan with an obligation to buy.

Despite this, all they have received to date is offers for a loan with an option to buy, which doesn’t interest Fabio Paratici.

Perhaps it’s time for Atalanta to change that?
