Tottenham’s Dejan Kulusevski and Lucas Bergvall, and Newcastle’s Alexander Isak are currently away with Sweden.
The country’s international break has been impacted by bad weather and FotbollSkanalen report how their training sessions ahead of the game against Slovakia and Azerbaijan are shifting back to Stockholm from Marbella.
Spain has been witnessing extreme weather in recent days and a warning was issued before the Swedish side’s training session on Wednesday.
After Kulusevski, Isak and other Sweden players trained for 15 minutes today, the training centre was hit by rain and there are also doubts about when they can fly back to their home country due to the weather.
Sweden had decided to travel to Marbella for some warm weather training at the start of this break, and presumably hadn’t been keeping on top of the ongoing weather warnings in the country.
Meanwhile, the weather in Stockholm this week is calm and bright, and it really does seem odd that Sweden made the decision to travel in the first place.
