Tom Trybull, a title winner with Norwich City, is being lined up for a return to the Championship, with several sides keen on him.
That’s according to Tipsbladet, who say the 31-year-old German is out of contract in the summer and seen as a potential bargain.
They explain that current club Odense, who he joined on a free transfer in September after being released by Blackpool in August, fear they could be about to lose the midfielder after just a year.
While both parties have publicly expressed that an extension to his current deal is possible, nothing has yet fallen into place. And that’s led to questions of whether it will at all.
That’s because according to Tipsbladet’s information, there is a good deal of interest in Trybull from the Championship.
While negotiations with Odense have been progressing slowly, interest in him from the Championship has been rising in the former Norwich City man.
That’s seen as hardly surprising given his spells with Norwich, Blackburn and Blackpool, with him making it to the Premier League with the former as well.
No clubs are named on this occasion, but the interest is there and Odense fear Trybull could be on the way out and back to England’s second flight.
