Joachim Andersen is the latest player this window to serve up a clear come-and-get-me-plea.

The Sampdoria defender has been linked with several clubs over the past few months, including Tottenham and Arsenal, and now he’s made it very clear he’s keen on a transfer.

Speaking to Danish newspaper BT, the defender explained: “There’s a lot of interest and I look at my options. I have loved my time in Sampdoria – both the fans, the president, the staff, the players and the city, but it’s time to move on so I can develop even more.”

BT say the 23 year old has informed the Serie A club of his intentions.

Lyon are very interested, and an option for Andersen should he choose, but Tottenham are still in the picture.

It’s claimed the Premier League club have held ‘several meetings’ over signing the player, and now it’s up to him to decide what he really wants to do, with BT quoting him as saying: “There are several interested clubs that speak to my agent and I’ll make a decision soon with my family and agent.”

Andersen stressed further that he has a lot to thank Sampdoria for, and he wants to make sure a transfer is good for the Genoa club.

It’s only Tottenham and Lyon named in the BT article, with no mention for Arsenal this time.
