Earlier today, we covered a story from Record saying Manchester United are preparing an offer for Bruno Fernandes, and also Correio da Manhã report that Liverpool could include a player in a deal for the Sporting midfielder.

Considering the list of Premier League sides who have been heavily linked to the player lately, aren’t we missing something? Oh, yes, Tottenham Hotspur. It’s A Bola who has a story about them today.

The newspaper brings an article saying that after ‘backing off from the spotlight’, Spurs are now ‘back to the ground’ to sign Fernandes.

A Bola says that Tottenham once again see Christian Eriksen’s departure as ‘close’, and that made them ‘recover their interest’ in the Sporting star.

A Bola writes the Spurs are now preparing ‘a new attempt’ to sign Fernandes, although it’s not claimed when or how much will they bid.

The outlet adds that Manchester United, Liverpool and Paris Saint Germain are also interested. So although the Portuguese press always brings mixed claims about the chase, there’s one thing they all agree on, which is the list of competitors.
