There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Hull City attacker Abdülkadir Ömür is keen on a return to Turkey during the January transfer window and that there are multiple interested clubs.
Ömür only signed for Hull City just under 12 months ago, but following their struggles this season there have been recent reports of a move back to the Super Lig.
Fanatik today report on the latest developments regarding the future of the player, and they say Basaksehir, Eyüpspor and Göztepe are all in the running.
It’s claimed the three Turkish clubs are specifically interested in signing the 25-year-old, and the attacker himself would prefer a move to either Basaksehir or Eyüpspor due to being based in Istanbul.
Ömür has also been linked with a return to his former club Trabzonspor in recent weeks, but it seems a move there doesn’t seem a possibility. The player joined Hull City from the Trabzon club, but their president Ertuğrul Doğan has ruled out bringing him back.
The winger has made 19 appearances for the Tigers this season but has yet to score. He’s contracted to the Championship side until June 2027.
