This week Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has been linked with a move to Trabzonspor.
The France international’s future with the Premier League side is uncertain, and it’s been confirmed the Turkish side are in talks to sign the player.
Fotomac have reported on Trabzonspor fans attempts to urge the Tottenham player to move to Turkey. It’s been claimed ‘thousands’ have taken to social media inviting Sissoko to Trabzonspor with the hashtag #cometotrabzonsporsissoko.
With it being the club’s 50th anniversary, Trabzonspor are looking to bring in a marquee signing this window, and it seems Sissoko is their prime target.
Yesterday we covered comments made by Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta, who confirmed the club are in talks to sign Sissoko. The Turkish side have already brought in Serdar Tasci from Spartak Moscow, and they’ll be hoping they can get a deal done for the Tottenham midfielder.
Sissoko made just eight league starts for Tottenham last season after his move from Newcastle United 12 months ago.
