Milan are yet to make a decision on a move for Liverpool forward Divock Origi, but he is one they are ‘very strong’ on.

That’s according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, via Calciomercato.it, who says there is ‘a lot of interest’ in the Belgian striker.

Origi is out of contract at Liverpool this summer, and it appears he will be allowed to leave the club when his deal expires in the summer.

Milan are believed to be on the clubs interested in his signature and a report from Italy today indicated they were thinking about making a move.

That report stated that Origi’s agents had made it clear Liverpool would not be renewing the striker’s contract; thus, he had been in contact with Milan about a move.

The Italian club were believed to have put Origi at the top of their list as he’s available on a free, and Tavolieri backs that up somewhat.

“There’s a lot of interest from many European teams, even in Italy. We know that Milan is very strong in these cases. For the moment, though, the decision is not made; there is nothing done,” Calciomercato.it report him saying.

As has been stated elsewhere, then, it seems Milan are thinking about a move for Origi once he leaves Liverpool this summer.

It appears, though, there is nothing definite in the pipeline at this moment in time, and he is simply one of several players that they are looking at.

That can change quickly, of course, and we’re sure we’ll be hearing more about Milan’s interest and any developments in the coming weeks and months.
