For the past few weeks, reports coming out of Turkey have covered Arsenal wanting to sign Galatasaray’s Sacha Boey in the summer window.
Journalist Oğuz Altay, writing in his column for Yeni Şafak, states ‘there are offers’ around €15m for both the right-back and Victor Nelsson.
Altay immediately says Arsenal and Juventus are interested in Boey, without specifically making it clear if these two clubs have tabled offers for him.
Should the 22-year-old leave, the journalist states the Istanbul club have identified Sassuolo’s Mert Müldür as a target to replace him. He adds Arsenal’s Nuno Tavares is also an option for Galatasaray for the left-back position.
Another Turkish newspaper, Yeniçağ, states Galatasaray vice-president Erden Timur made a trip to England to carry out a few incoming and outgoing operations.
After meeting Norwich City for Milot Rashica, the report states Timur ‘will meet Arsenal’ for Tavares. They add Boey will also be discussed as the Frenchman has been ‘requested’ by Mikel Arteta’s side.
Earlier this month, Boey publicly admitted he’s “flattered” after the recent reports linking him to Arsenal and also talked about his desire to play in the Premier League.
