Willem II are yet to receive any offer from Nottingham Forest for Jizz Hornkamp, despite reports to the contrary.

That’s according to technical director Teun Jacobs, who insists that it will take a ‘huge amount’ for them to sell the striker this summer.

Hornkamp was linked to Nottingham Forest last night, with a report in England claiming they were attempting to sign the 24-year-old.

The news of their interest came out of nowhere, so much so that there are zero reports on the matter in the Netherlands beyond covering what’s being said in England.

That would suggest there has not been any serious move from Nottingham Forest at this moment in time, although that can always change.

It seems Willem II, though, are as surprised by the news as everyone else, with technical director Teun Jacobs responding to the claims today and insisting there is absolutely nothing to them at this moment in time.

“I haven’t had one second of contact with anyone about a transfer of Jizz,” he told Brabants Dagblad.

“Not with him, not with his agent and not with any club whatsoever. So there is no truth in that.

“I really don’t know where this is coming from. Either this is a ghost story, or Nottingham Forest have yet to report to me.

“If they call me? I’ll pick up and tell them Jizz is not for sale. Unless, and that goes for every player, of course, a huge amount is on the table.

“But it’s clear: in principle, we don’t want to let anyone go.”
