Fotospor have reported on Besiktas striker Burak Yilmaz’s comments about Fikret Orman’s desire to loan Cenk Tosun from Everton.
Last week we covered reports from Turkey that the Besiktas president wants to form his dream strike partnership of Yilmaz and Tosun. Again, this has been reported in today’s edition of Fotospor.
The pair were in top form during the recent international break and the Everton player scored a brace in Turkey’s 4-0 victory over Moldova yesterday.
After the game Yilmaz spoke about Tosun: “We have played together before. It’s a great thing to play with a striker like Cenk. He understands me better. So, we’re very happy.”
According to Fotospor Besiktas president Fikret Orman will make an attempt to loan Tosun in the summer as the Super Lig look to bolster their attacking options ahead of next season.
The 27 year old is struggling to get starts at Everton under Marco Silva and may need to go out on a temporary basis in the next campaign.
Besiktas were linked with their former player during the last window but they had other transfer priorities. However, it seems like they will again show an interest this summer.
