Journalist Ertan Süzgün claims three Turkish clubs have held talks with the agent of Aston Villa winger Trezeguet with regards to a potential return to the Super Lig.
Champions Başakşehir, along with arch-rivals Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are said to be interested in signing the Egyptian, and according to Süzgün they’ve reached out to his agent William D’Avila.
It’s reported all three Istanbul sides are prepared to offer a €1.5m loan fee for the 25 year old and Trezeguet himself is looking for a salary of €2m a season.
However, Süzgün says that after securing their Premier League safety, Villa are not looking to part ways with the player at the moment.
The former Anderlecht winger, who joined Aston Villa from Turkish club Kasimpasa for €10m last summer, was influential for Dean Smith’s side during the run in.
Trezeguet scored six goals in the Premier League with three of them coming in the last four games. The winger is under contract at Villa Park until June 2023.
