The Spanish press continues to follow Roque Mesa’s last moments as a Swansea City player before he signs for Sevilla.
Earlier today, we’ve already covered a couple of stories which said the agreement was pretty close, with the player hoping to fly to the Spain in the ‘next few hours’.
Now local outlet Estádio Desportivo brings a story saying Sevilla are sorting the last details for the transfer to happen.
The club started the paperwork yesterday, but had to delay until today because of the issues that ‘show up in every single transfer’. Especially Sevilla transfers.
They claim that this morning, Swansea and Sevilla got back in contact with the intention to make the move official today, and are currently exchanging documents for it to happen.
Roque Mesa is set to join La Liga side on a loan deal until the end of the season. They are expected to have a buying option, although the amount hasn’t been reported yet.
