Barcelona star Cristian Tello is facing an uncertain future, as he does in every transfer window.
The 24-year-old spent the last six months on loan at Fiorentina, and reports suggest the Serie A club want him back on a similar basis.
The player is also keen on extending his stay at Fiorentina. According to Italian website Corriere dello Sport, Tello has received offers from Southampton and Tottenham, but he doesn’t even want to listen to them.
Swansea are also prepared to offer €15m for Tello, but the player is just waiting for a green light to complete his move to Fiorentina.
Over the past few years, Tello has been repeatedly linked to Premier League clubs, but has never really moved to the Premier League so we won’t really be surprised should that be the case this summer as well.
Tello still has another couple of years left on his contract, and there is a chance Barcelona would want to offload him permanently this summer.
As we covered earlier, in the Spanish reports on Monday, there was no mention of Tottenham… but there was of Swansea City and Southampton.
The Italian media would like the idea of Tello refusing the Premier League to stay in Italy, and may well exaggerate that slightly.
