Sidelined since picking a thigh injury in early January, Swansea City midfielder Renato Sanches is working on the final part of his recovery.
The midfielder was spotted by Portuguese newspaper Record this week, and photographed working with a coach in his home town Lisbon.
Sanches is spending time at home, training in a sports complex nearby. Record watched him doing a ‘light jog’ in the rain in the first part of the session, and then working a bit with a ball, showing that he’s closer to get back on normal training.
Record writes a few times that spending some time in Lisbon with his family could help Sanches psychologically, and could give him more motivation to do well in the final part of the season.
Regarding his return date, the newspaper doesn’t seem to know much, as they take quotes from Carlos Carvalhal to stay the midfielder should be back in Wales in the next week.
