According to claims in the Spanish media Swansea City are showing an interest in Eibar midfielder Dani Garcia. With Swansea City retaining their Premier League status for another season they will be looking to bolster their squad this summer.
Marca have today reported Swansea City could look to move in on Garcia in the next window, and that they would have to play his €8m termination fee. Paul Clement will be aware of the 27-year-old from his time as assistant coach with Real Madrid, and the player is an option for the Swansea City boss.
However, the Premier League side will face competition to sign Garcia, with reports Ligue 1 side Nice are also showing an interest in the Spaniard. Garcia is contracted to Eibar until 2018, and subsequently they could be under pressure to sell him this summer.
Garcia came though the Real Sociedad youth system, but it was at Eibar where the player made his name. The midfielder has played over 200 league games for the Spanish side since he signed for them in 2012.
