Earlier today, second division Dutch side MVV Maastricht confirmed Chelsea midfielder George McEachran’s loan deal has been terminated.
The 20-year-old came up through the ranks of the west London club’s youth system and after spending the second half of last season on loan at SC Cambuur, he returned to the Netherlands on a loan deal in the summer.
Frank Lampard’s side agreed a temporary deal with MVV Maastricht for McEachran’s loan move late in the last transfer window.
The Blues owned player managed an assist after playing for 100 minutes across three matches in the Dutch second division.
MVV surprised everyone today by confirming on their official website that’s McEachran’s season-long loan deal has been cut short ‘immediately for serious private reasons’.

McEachran occasionally trained with the English club’s first team when Maurizio Sarri was in charge at Stamford Bridge and was also on the bench during Chelsea’s Europa League win over MOL Vidi in 2018.
The U17 World Cup winner with England is yet to make his first team debut for Chelsea.
