AS Roma’s early talks for the signing of Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha are now backed up by the Italian media.
Earlier today, it was website TuttoMercatoWeb who reported the chase.
They claimed that according to their English sources, the first contacts for the transfer had already happened, and the signing would have the approval of manager José Mourinho.
Now it’s time for Sky Sport to back up the talks and add some more information to it.
They claim that Crystal Palace’s Zaha ‘would have been offered’ to Roma, who are now in touch with the player’s entourage.
But even though the club director Tiago Pinto likes the profile, it’s also made clear that the Italian side must first confirm some sales before investing in the Englishman’s signing.
Once again, it’s not made clear how much Crystal Palace demand or how much Roma would like to pay for the transfer.
For now, it seems like the talks are between the Italian side and the player, with the Eagles still to have a say on how hard will it be for them to let the departure happen.
