The Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich rumour is getting very excitable in Germany.
How excitable? This excitable…
Tuesday’s edition of Bild has a big article suggesting Bayern Munich have postponed their yearly squad photograph so it can include the Manchester City player.
In previous years, there’s been a squad photograph taken midway through preseason training or at the end of the camp. This year, it’s been ‘postponed’ until the beginning of September, and Bild are giving their readers the idea this may have been done because the Sane signing was always likely to drag on.
Bayern’s closest media had pretty much given up on signing the Manchester City player, but Pep Guardiola’s recent comments about Sane needing to make a decision have been taken as a hint he could soon leave.
Niko Kovac once again going public with his confidence over the arrival has also helped, as have Spanish reports of City being keen on Real Sociedad’s Mikel Oyarzabal as a potential replacement.
