KRC Genk star Paul Onuachu’s impressive record of 47 goals in all competitions since the start of last season, which includes 12 from this term, has caught attention of clubs across Europe.
Back in May, the striker publicly admitted that Arsenal are his dream club. Two months later, his agent stressed a move to the Emirates would be welcomed by the 27-year-old.
The Nigeria international continues to shine for the Jupiler Pro League side. Genk, over the years, have developed players and sold them to clubs from top five leagues in Europe.
Corriere dello Sport have a pieced on the Belgians club and even compare their model employed by Dutch giants, Ajax.
When discussing the current crop of players at Genk, Onuachu is named first. It’s said that ‘offers have already arrived, especially from the Premier League’ for the attacker.
This is when Arsenal and Aston Villa are tagged as the report adds Onuachu is ‘followed’ by the two English clubs.
The details of the proposals Genk received for the player aren’t mentioned in the report. Mikel Arteta’s side would be given a preference, if one were to go by the comments made earlier this year by both Onuachu and his representative.
