Whether this is linked to the difficulties of getting a deal for Justin Kluivert over the line or not, Fulham are going after Raul de Tomas.
The striker, currently at RCD Espanyol in La Liga, has become a late target for Marco Silva’s side, according to El Partidazo de COPE.
The radio show took to Twitter to explain that Fulham ‘have contacted’ the player, who has yet to play for the Spanish club this season.
It’s made very clear that the 27-year-old’s intention ‘is to leave’ Espanyol, and while he is ‘studying’ the offer put in front of him by the Craven Cottage residents, he is also ‘waiting for another’.

Our guess here is that he’ll go to Fulham if nothing better comes along, but if someone else comes knocking, then he might prefer that option.
Either way, the Premier League club want De Tomas, who has scored 45 goals in 89 appearances as well as picking up six assists for Espanyol since joining them in January 2020 from Benfica in a £20m deal.
