Turkish website Futbol Arena report Stoke City have turned down Galatasaray’s loan bid for Badou Ndiaye.
It’s claimed Galatasaray made an official loan offer for the Senegal international and that they are trying to loan him for free. The Senegal international signed for Stoke City for €16m in the last transfer window.
Futbol Arena say Galatasaray also offered to cover Ndiaye’s entire salary, but Stoke City rejected the offer as they want €3m for a season-long loan deal.
This will only come as a boost to the other clubs reportedly interested in Ndiaye and could give the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United a chance to sign the player.
Both Wolves and Newcastle United have been linked with the central midfielder in the past week as he looks to leave Stoke City after their relegation to the Championship.
Last week it was reported Newcastle United were in talks to sign Ndiaye and that they had a financial advantage over Galatasaray.
Wolves were also linked with the player despite reports he was close to a move to the Turkish giants.
