Stoke City attacker Bojan Krkic has told the Spanish media he’s got an important decision to make on his future in the summer. The 26-year-old is currently on loan with Bundesliga side Mainz after seeing his chances limited at Stoke City this season.
Bojan will return to Stoke City when his loan spell with Mainz ends, and the Spain international believes he needs to make a decision about his future. Speaking to Catalan newspaper Sport, Bojan said this could be one of the most important decisions he’s made in his football career.
“This summer is going to be an important moment. I think the most important decision, or one of the most important since I started my career as a professional, is going to take place this summer,” said the Stoke City loanee.
Bojan joined Stoke City in 2014, and after his first season was interrupted by injury by injury in the last campaign he got more opportunities in Mark Hughes’ team. However, he struggled to get games for the Premier League side this season, and subsequently joined Mainz on loan in the last window.
Hughes was content to see Bojan leave on loan and it’s unlikely there’s a big role for the 26 year old at Stoke City next season.
