Milliyet report Galatasaray are looking to strengthen their midfielder ahead of next season by signing Stoke City’s Joe Allen.
The Turkish newspaper report Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim is keen to add quality midfielders to his squad, and he’s identified Allen as a possible target.
Allen is expected to leave Stoke City after their relegation to the Championship, and Milliyet say the Galatasaray board have already started exploring the possibility in signing him.
Galatasaray will participate in the next season’s Champions League, and subsequently the Turkish Champions are hoping this could convince the Stoke City midfielder to come to Istanbul
According to Milliyet Galatasaray are looking to get Allen on loan, but it’s likely Stoke City would want to sell him outright.
Stoke City and Galatasaray have already dealt in the transfer market following Badou Ndiaye’s move to the Potters in the last transfer window.
The Senegal international signed for the English club for €16m, but he too may look to leave the club this summer.
