For years, Italy’s TMW have run transfer rumours on Abel Hernandez.
There’s been a stream of exclusives, and also several interviews directly with the player’s agent Pablo Bentancur.
If he were to be believed, half the world wanted Hernandez around a year ago, almost to the day, along with Gaston Ramirez, then at Middlesbrough.
A year ago we published an article explaining how agent games with the two players could destabilise Hull City and Middlesbrough, and whilst that was most true with the latter, the Tigers will know all sorts could happen between now and when Hernandez’s contract expires in the summer.
A few days ago, TMW linked Hernandez with a move to Torino, and today they have an exclusive claiming Inter Milan are also keen on the player.
The Hull City player is ‘a concrete objective’ for the summer at Inter, and things could get more serious over the next few weeks.
Prepare for Hernandez to be linked to half of Serie A, some Chinese clubs, and a couple of Premier League sides for good measure.
This time it could actually work in Hull’s favour. Hernandez needs to prove himself when he returns from injury, in order to get a juicy contract elsewhere and a place at the World Cup.
