According to a claim coming out of the Hotel Melia in Milan, Torino are trying to get an agreement with Hull City forward Abel Hernandez.

The Uruguayan has been linked with a return to Italy in previous windows, following his spell with Palermo.

TMW have reported are already looking to next season, and are hoping they can sign Hernandez on a free transfer in the next window.

The player is out of contract with Hull City at the end of the season, and with it being unlikely he’ll be offered a bumper new deal with the Championship side it looks certain he’ll become a free agent in June.

Torino can now speak to Hernandez about a pre-contract agreement, and with other clubs likely to be interested the Serie A side want to get an agreement soon.

Hernandez joined Hull City from Palermo in 2014 and has gone on to make nearly 100 appearances for the club, and has had almost the same number of stories leaked about clubs being interested.

However, the 27 year old has hardly figured for Hull City this season because of an Achilles injury.
