Spanish outlet El Periodico de Aragón today brings a big story about Real Zaragoza’s plans for the summer transfer window.
One the club’s targets is Rafa Mir, who last season had a loan spell at UD Las Palmas and is now returning to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Real Zaragoza would be keen on signing the striker on a loan deal, but the big difficulty for them would be the competition the 22-year-old has been attracting.
El Periodico de Aragón claims Wolves would rather have the player in the Championship, where they’ve offered him to Hull City ‘and others’.
Meanwhile, if sending the player to Spain once again, Wolves would rather have him in the first division. That would give no chance to Las Palmas or Real Zaragoza. In La Liga, Granada are the main interested side and could be a good option.
Rafa Mir scored seven goals and made one assist in 30 appearances in La Liga 2 last season.
