Chelsea are once again in the eye of the storm.
The circus surrounding Antonio Conte and Maurizio Sarri has been going on for way too long and with less than a month left of the transfer window there’s still plenty of doubts to settle.
Spain’s media have been covering this closely, because it’s thought possible several Chelsea stars could be heading to La Liga this summer.
Real Madrid are keen on Thibaut Courtois, Barcelona supposedly want Willian, and both Spanish giants are looking at the Eden Hazard situation. On top of that, Mundo Deportivo point out PSG are ‘crazy’ for N’Golo Kante.
Then there’s Morata, who it’s thought could ask to leave if he’s not given assurances he’s going to be important.
Mundo Deportivo suggest there’s a danger Chelsea could become a ‘selling club’, that they’ve gone from ‘glory to hell’ in the space of a season.
The Spanish newspaper do place the caveat of Roman Abramovich maybe not allowing the exits, but it’s going to be a stressful time to be a Chelsea fan… and the football world is clearly watching.
