“Guardiola’s life in Manchester” is one of the many stories published by Mundo Deportivo ahead of the Champions League match between Barcelona and Manchester City.
The outlet has published an article today saying how the former Barcelona boss has adapted to Manchester, a city which is so different from the Catalan capital.
Mundo Deportivo claims that instead of picking far away places like Cheshire or Hale, which are the footballers’ favourites, Pep has chosen something different. He’s living with his wife and children in Salford as he wants to be in the heart of things.
The manager has reportedly visited some restaurants such as Australasia and San Carlo, and the latter is also attended by the goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.
And during his walks through the city, he’s been down Deansgate, where he can find Catalan food and other products at the Lunya Catalan Deli.
One big difference between England in Spain, according to the article, is that Pep can walk in the city and no one will bother his privacy. It’s all due to the culture, and the boss knows no one will be following him through the streets.
But everything described above is just Pep’s life. For most of the time, he’s Guardiola, and his favourite place in Manchester is the City Football Academy, where he spends countless hours per week.
